What’s Love got to do with it?
God is Love!

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

​Love has everything to do with it. When Adam sinned in the Garden of Even mankind died spiritually and was separated from God. God is Love. Therefore mankind was separated from God’s love. All mankind have a void in their hearts to be loved, accepted, and to have a sense of worth and value. This void in man’s heart demands to be filled. The sin nature of man tries to fill this void my placing a demand of others to fill it. It looks to the pleasures of this world to fill it. It looks to success, power, and influence to fill it. However, nothing in this world can fill this void. God created man to carry His Spirit. His Spirit is love. Mankind was created to carry God’s Spirit inside of him. Jesus came and reconciled man back to God. He paid the debt of man’s sin by offering Himself as a sacrificial Lamb. He was your substitute. He took your place as a sinner on the cross. God placed all your sin on Jesus and then punished Jesus for your sins. God demonstrated His great love for you when He sent Jesus to be your substitute. Jesus paid the debt for your sin with His own life. His death freed you from all your sins. Now when you believe this gospel you become born again. Your old sin nature dies with Christ and you resurrect with Christ a brand new creation. You get a new spirit and a new heart. God also puts His Spirit inside of you. His Spirit inside of you fills the void in your heart to be loved, accepted, and to have a sense of worth and value. You become a child of God and an heir of God. Jesus traded places with you on the cross. He became sin so you could become righteous. He took your place as a sinner and gave you His place as a righteous son. All this was done for you while you were a sinner. It is God’s great love and His amazing grace demonstrated for you. You can never question God’s great love for you when you understand what He did for you on the cross.

Why do I want this abundant life?

​You want this abundant life because Jesus has already paid the price for you to have it. It has already been paid for in full. You want it because God has already qualified you to have it. It is rightfully yours. It is your inheritance when you accept Jesus as your Savior. This abundant life is the life of God. It empowers you to fulfill your purpose and destiny on this earth. It fills the void in your heart to be loved, accepted and valued. It is filled will abundance and great joy. When you experience this abundant life in your marriage it becomes a marriage free from any resentment and bitterness. It becomes a marriage made in heaven. When you experience this abundant life in your health you stay in good health your entire life and you live a long and satisfying life. When you experience this abundant life in your relationships they are all peaceful and wonderful. When you experience this abundant life in your finances you have plenty and enough left over to give to every good work. You want this abundant life because it gives you abundance in every area of your life. I have lived long enough to possess this abundant life in my marriage, my health, my finances and in my relationships. It is awesome and I hope you will desire it and pursue it with all your heart.

Now What?
When do I get this abundant life?

Jesus came to give you an abundant life. So when to I get this abundant life? You get it when you renew your mind to God’s will. You get it when God’s word is ruling your heart. You get it when you take the time and daily seek the Lord and fellowship with Him. Possessing this abundant life is a process. To the degree that God’s word rules your mind is the degree of this abundant life you will possess. To the degree that you know the Holy Spirit and recognize His voice is the degree you will walk in this abundant life. The scripture says that this is eternal life. That we may know Him, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent (John 17:3). This abundant life comes as you get to know your God in an intimate way. The value that you place on God, His Spirit, and His word is how it will affect your life. When you become intimate with God you get to live an abundant life in every area of your life. The thoughts and ways of this world produce death, therefore, you will have to change the way you think. You can no long think like the world if you are going to possess this abundant life that Jesus came to give you. God’s thoughts and God’s ways are higher than the thoughts and ways of this world. You are transformed from Satan’s kingdom (this world) into the kingdom of God’s dear Son as you change the way you think. When you think like the world your ways will be like the world and it will produce death in your life, your relationships, your health, and your finances. When you think like God your ways will be like His and it will produce life in your relationships, your health, and your finances. Understanding God’s will and knowing His Spirit is the greatest treasure in this world. It is more valuable than anything this world has to offer you. When God becomes your treasure over this world with all its money and possession you will get the privilege and great honor of living this abundant life Jesus came to give you.

What Now?

What is this abundant life?

So what is this abundant life that Jesus came to give us?

• A Life with a purpose and is rich and satisfying.
• A Life full of provision for all your needs and enough left over to give to every good work.
• A Life flowing in abundance and overflowing in fullness.
• A Life of good health that is free from physical, emotional and mental pain.
• A Life better than you ever dreamed of.
• A Life worth living and enjoying abundance to the fullest until it overflows.

If you’ve not rich and satisfied in your marriage, finances, relationships, health, employment, etc. then you haven’t experienced this abundant life in its fullness.
There is more!
This abundant life is a life of knowing God in a personal and intimate relationship. It understands the laws and principles that govern the Kingdom of God. It is thinking God’s thoughts and living by God’s ways. Jesus is our example of a new creature living on this planet. He was the firstborn among many brethren. We must renew our minds the think like God. God’s thoughts and ways are revealed in the Bible. Jesus was the perfect example for us to study and follow. God’s ways and thoughts were a mystery to those who lived under the Old Testament but have been revealed to us under the New Testament. The apostle Paul writes the mystery that was hidden from the foundation of the world has been revealed to us. Under the New Testament, the mystery of God and His ways are revealed. God has also given us His Holy Spirit who is called the Spirit of Truth. He lives inside of us. One of His jobs is to reveal the mysteries of God to us.
