Does Faith work?

​Check out my article “What is Faith” on my blog. I can testify to you that faith has healed me every single time I have been afflicted with a sickness, pain and injury. It has prospered me financially beyond my wildest dreams. It has healed my marriage and given me a wonderful marriage of 39 years. It has healed my children and grandchildren hundreds of times. It has given me great peace of mind and tremendous joy in my heart. It has given me life and life more abundantly.
Let me say with a resounding “YES” faith really does work. It is the only true security on this earth. It works every time and never fails.
God’s immutable, unchangeable, irrefutable, and never changing word is the strength of faith. Faith is simply believing God’s redemptive word in your heart and then confessing His word with your mouth.

So how does it work?
To operate faith you must believe that God is and that He will reward you if you diligently seek Him.
You must believe that there is value in knowing God and His unchangeable word. If you do not believe there is value in putting God’s word in your heart, you will not seek Him. Faith will be of no use to you, and won't work.
I am here shouting from the rooftop that faith will transform your life and give you great peace, fulfillment in life, good health, a long life, wealth, a purpose and happiness.

The foundation of faith is the redemptive truth of what took place on the cross.
Two immutable things took place on the cross that is the foundation of your faith.

1. Jesus bore your sins on the cross and gave you His righteousness as a free gift. He shed His blood and forgave you of all your sin for your entire life. Jesus’ blood testifies to God that Jesus died on the cross and paid the price of your sin in full, therefore Jesus’ blood forever justifies you before God. God will never count your sins against you. Therefore no one can condemn you. Jesus redemptive work made you forever righteous before God.
Faith will believe this truth in your heart therefore faith will proclaim with your mouth that you are redeemed from all sin by the blood of Jesus and now you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Faith will stand on this truth and not allow any condemnation in your heart. This will keep you in right standing with your Father and allow you to boldly come before Him and fellowship with Him. You can now make your requests to Him knowing that He will grant you the requests you make of Him. Faith puts you in right standing with God, which in turn, fills the void in your heart to be loved, accepted, and have a sense of value and purpose. This will empower you not to yield to Satan’s temptations to sin against God.
Faith is so powerful because it believes God’s unchangeable word and will not back down from it. Faith pleases God because faith believes God and trusts in God. When God sees you standing on His word by believing it in your heart and confessing it with you mouth it causing Him to move heaven and earth in your behave to fulfill the word you are standing on.
2. Jesus broke His body for you. Not only did Jesus bear your sins but He bore your judgment for sin. The judgment for sin is recorded in Deuteronomy 28:15-67. It is called the Curse of the Law. God placed the entire Curse of the Law on Jesus body as punishment for our sins. Jesus bore that curse and redeemed you from it. You are forgiven therefore God will never judge you with sickness, disease, pain or poverty.
Faith will believe this truth in your heart and it will resist any curse that tries to come on you. Satan is a thief and he comes to your life to kill, steal and destroy. He comes to accuse you of sin and then condemn you. He comes to illegally afflict you will sickness, disease, pain, and poverty. Faith will discern his condemnation and judgment and will resist it. Faith will speak the redemptive truths with your mouth to the devil and command him to leave. Faith will not back up or shut up. It will continue speaking to the mountain until it leaves.
If you will put God’s redemptive truths in your heart and confess them with your mouth it will release the power of God to bring you salvation. It will bring you whatever the word of God promises you. Faith is real and it works every single time.
