My blood is drink indeed and my body is food indeed. He who feeds on me has everlasting life.

Jesus’ blood is very real. It is drink indeed. Just as oppression, depression, fear, anxiety and a low self-esteem are very real so also is the truth of what Jesus’ blood does for you. His blood washes away all your sins and makes you acceptable to God. It cleanses your conscience from dead works. It cleanses you from all evil conscience. In other words, it changes the way you think. Instead of beating yourself up for your mistakes you forgive yourself and move on with your life. God’s truth teach you that your standing with God is not by your behavior or your actions. Your standing with God is based on His great love for you. He loved you so much that He died for you so that you could be adopted into His family. You are now a royal child of the King. It’s who you are. If you will drink this blood (truth) you will see that it is drink indeed. Jesus body also very real. Just as sickness, disease, pain, and poverty are very real so is Jesus body. He loved you so much that He also bore your judgment for sin. Your judgment for sin is recorded in Deuteronomy 28:15-67. It is called the curse of the law. Jesus bore that curse for you and redeemed you from that curse. God’s judgment broke Jesus’ body so that you could forever be free from sin and its judgment. Because of the cross, no one can accuse you, judge you or condemn you, for God justifies you. As you understand the truth of Jesus’ broken body and meditate on that truth you will understand that His body is food indeed. His blood will free from all condemnation. His body will free you all judgment which includes all sickness, disease, and pain. I encourage you to drink Jesus’ blood and eat His body every day of your life.
