On this Rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not be able to prevail against it!

Saint Peter had a revelation from God that Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus was the one who bore the sins of the whole world. He would redeem us from all sin and all judgment. He was our substitute. He made an exchange with us. He took our sins and gave us, as a free gift, His righteousness. He bore our judgment of sickness/disease and pain and gave us His abundant life of good health and provision. These two truths are the Rock on which we stand. The authorities of hell cannot prevail against those who build their lives on the truth they are forgiven and free from God’s judgment. When Satan comes to accuse us or condemn us he cannot prevail because we resist him with the truth that we are, once and for all, forgiven of our sins. Our sins have already been paid for, in full, at the cross. When Satan comes to afflict us with sickness/disease and pain we resist him steadfast with the truth that Jesus has already borne our judgment for sin. We speak to the mountain of sickness/disease and pain and command it to leave and it obeys us. We are the redeemed of the Lord and we shall be far from oppression, we shall not fear and from terror, it shall not come near us. We are instructed to equip ourselves with the armor of God so that we can stand against the schemes of the devil. We are more than conquers through Christ who loves us and have given His life for us.
