Religion says, “God is in control of everything!” Faith overcomes sickness, disease, poverty, oppression and every other curse with the word of God.

Religion will say God is in control of everything so whatever may happen in your life was permitted by God.
This strips you of your God given authority to rule and reign in life.
This comes from a man-made doctrine that says, “God is sovereign”, which implies that nothing can happen unless God either does it or permits it. God is certainly sovereign in that He is all powerful, all knowing and Omni-present, however, God has given man the dominion of this world. Man in turn gave the spiritual dominion of this world to Satan, when he sinned in the Garden of Eden.

Satan is now the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). Yet, Jesus came and defeated Satan (Hebrews 2:14) and gave the church the spiritual dominion of this world (Ephesians 1:20). Today we have been redeemed from Satan’s dominion (Colossians 1:13) and we are free from his demonic kingdom.
Faith takes the authority that Jesus purchased for him and uses that authority to rule over Satan and his kingdom. Jesus freed man from the Curse of sickness, poverty and pain (the curse of the Law) at the cross. Today we have been redeemed from that curse (Galatians 3:13) and given complete authority to rule over it (Luke 10:19) with our faith (1 John 5:4)
