What does that mean?
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace Adam sold out the human race to the devil. Sin entered man’s heart and Satan was given the dominion over man. When the Law of Moses came along, it strengthened Satan’s case against mankind. Satan used the Law of Moses to accuse man before God. God loved man so much He sent Jesus to this earth the pay the debt for man’s sin. Jesus was a perfect man. He was the only innocent man. He came to give His life for us. He traded His life for ours. He took our sin and gave us His righteousness. He purchased us from the curse of the law and Satan’s dominion. He paid the price for man’s sin and redeemed us back to God. All who will accept Jesus as Savior have been redeemed from sin, judgment, and Satan’s dominion. Now that we are free from sin, judgment, and the devil we must renew our minds to our redemption in Christ. God’s truth in our hearts is the only defense we have against Satan, who is still the god of this world. God’s redemptive truths empower us to an abundant life in the midst of a dark world. It empowers us to live as kings and priests unto our God on this earth. It empowers us to represent Jesus, as His ambassador, in all His power and glory.
