DAY 23
Is it always God's will to heal?
Most all Christians believe that God can heal, for he is the Almighty God and there is nothing impossible for him. However, many Christians are not sure if it is God’s will to heal them. Jesus is the exact image of God the Father. He said he came not to do his will but the will of him who sent him. Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with him. Jesus said he was the resurrection and the life. Every recorded incident were Jesus came in contact with a dead person he raised them from the dead. There is no record in the Gospels of someone coming to Jesus and not being healed or delivered. However there is an account where someone asked Jesus if he was willing to heal him. A Leper came to Jesus and said to him, “If you are willing you can make me clean.” Jesus said, “I am willing” and he touched him and he was completely healed. Jesus came to show us the heart of the Father. When he saw the sick he was moved with compassion to heal them. Jesus’ life and death proves without a shadow of doubt that it is always God’s will to heal. The Scriptures proclaim that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. When Jesus walked on this earth his physical body was the body of Christ. Jesus did no miracles until after the Holy Spirit came upon him when he was baptized by John the Baptist. After Jesus’ death and resurrection his bride (the church) was born. Today the church is the body of Christ. Jesus told his disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit to come upon them. After the Holy Spirit came upon his disciples on the day of Pentecost they began performing miracles just like Jesus. It is the Holy Spirit that performs the miracles. We, as believers, are instructed to call for the Elders of the Church when we become sick. They are to lay hands on us, anoint us with oil and pray the prayer of faith and we shall recover. If we have committed sins they shall be forgiven and we shall be healed. However if we understand the gospel and what Jesus did for us on the cross we can lay hands on ourselves and pray the prayer of faith and we shall recover. The anointing of God’s Holy Spirit to heal resides in every believer. The Apostle Paul said, “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, that same Spirit will also give life to your mortal body”. Jesus redeemed us from every lawless deed and from the entire curse of the Law. Surely he has already borne our sicknesses, diseases and pains in his own body and by his stripes we are healed. If it is not God’s will for us to be healed then Jesus bore the curse of the Law for nothing. Why would God place on Jesus our judgment for sin if he was not willing to heal us? God placed that curse on Jesus so that we could receive healing in our bodies. Jesus redeemed us from all sickness, disease and pain. We are the redeemed of the Lord. It is always God’s will to heal. All you have to do is believe it and then receive it with your faith and God will surely manifest his healing in your body.
PrayerFather I thank you for sending you’re only Begotten Son to redeem me from all sin and from all its judgment. I thank you Jesus for bearing my sickness, disease, and pain. I thank you for giving me your righteousness and your abundant life.

Confession
I have been delivered from all sin and its judgment. It is God’s will for me to be healed and walk in health. I receive God’s healing anointing into my body right now. I am the righteousness of God. I am the redeemed of the Lord. I am a son of God. I am an heir of God. Healing belongs to me and I receive it.
