The realities of the New Testament free you from the Law of the Old Testament. Your redemption in Christ Jesus frees you from the requirement of the Old Testament Law of Moses. This powerful law frees you from the requirement to be prefect to be acceptable to God. Under the New Testament Jesus bore our sins and the judgment for our sins. Our faith in Jesus finished work on the cross is counted as righteousness to God. When we believe the gospel our Father gives us, as a free gift, his righteousness. This law frees our consciousness for sin. We are free from all condemnation which frees us from a sense of unworthiness before our God.
