Law Eight
Jesus freed us from the Law of Moses therefore sin is no longer counted against us. However sin will always produce death. This law exposes our sin nature and the danger of sin. It reveals how our sin nature tries to rule us and how we can recognize it and overcome it. Our new identity in Christ fills the void in our heart to be loved, accepted, and to know we have great worth and value. It brings us great security. Sin loses its power to deceive us when we understand our new identity in Christ Jesus. We can learn to discern between our flesh and our spirit, between good and evil as we renew our minds to our redemption in Christ. Our new identity in Christ empowers us to overcome our flesh and live victorious lives.
The Law of Sin and Death Introduction
This short video gives a brief introduction to the Law Sin and Death. We have a sin nature still attached to our mortal body. The Bible calls it your flesh. As we renew our mind to our redemption in Christ our sin nature is exposed and we are empowered to overcome it.
