DAY 27
I will come and heal him
After Jesus told the story of the sower he made this statement, “And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.' But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;” The Apostle Paul writes, “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them”. All who will hear and see and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ will be healed. Jesus will come and heal you. The veil that Satan puts over people’s eyes is the Law of Moses. He tells people their righteousness is by their obedience to the commandments of God and by their good deeds. When people try to earn their right standing with God through the Law they will always fall short and come under condemnation. They will never feel worthy of God, therefore they will not live by faith neither will they enter into the inheritance of the Saints in the Light. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a light that removes the veil from their eyes. Under the New Testament God’s righteousness is given to us as a free gift. We are considered righteous before our God because we believe in the finished work that took place on the cross. When you can see and understand that your old sin nature was judged and condemned and died with Christ and you resurrected with Christ a brand new man you will know that you are righteous in God’s sight. It is with our faith that we believe the gospel. By faith we believe Jesus gave us his perfect righteousness as a free gift. Jesus bore our sin and gave us his righteousness. Now we can boldly and confidently come before our Heavenly Father in the righteousness of his perfect Son and make our requests to him. No one is righteous before God in his own goodness for we are all found with sin in us. It is with our faith that we believe the gospel. If we believe the gospel and receive our free gift of righteousness then we are considered sons of God. If we are sons then we are heirs. If we are heirs then the inheritance of good health, long life and abundant prosperity belongs to us. With our faith we possess our inheritance. Jesus reconciled us to our Father. We are instructed to come to our Father as a little child. Our Father loves us and adores us. We are the apple of his eye. We are to come to him in full assurance that we are accepted in his sight.
PrayerFather I thank you for opening my eyes to see, my ears to hear and my heart to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank you for coming and healing me. I thank you for demonstrating your great love for me by sending me a Savior.

Confession
With my eyes I can see the scripture proclaiming my redemption in Christ Jesus. With my ears I can hear the truth concerning my redemption. With my heart I understand that I am redeemed from my sin and from its judgment. I am the healed and the redeemed of the Lord. I have been justified before my God forever by the precious blood of Jesus.
